Periodic Triumphs (Craig Eley)

 

Archival research into a 1964 album of found office sounds reveals previously unheard voices.

Craig Eley is an audio producer and cultural historian who primarily works on the music podcast Song Exploder. He also produced the first two seasons of Human Powered from Wisconsin Humanities, and previously worked on the Wisconsin Public Radio show To the Best of Our Knowledge. He has held research appointments and fellowships from the American Council of Learned Societies, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Penn State Institute of Arts of Humanities.
