Circuit 02 (Listening With)
Developed in creative partnership with documentary filmmaker Sam Green of 32 Sounds, six commissioned producers created three-minute Fluxworks for Circuit 02 that:
Draw from the theme “listening with,” a philosophy conceived and described by composer Annea Lockwood in 32 Sounds
Incorporate a list that feeds the narrative or structure
Include the recording of a sound heard often
Commissioned producers include Talia Augustidis, Jasmin Bauomy, Ray Christian, Bianca Giaever, Jazmine "JT" Green, and Jorge Just.
The theme of “listening with” is directly inspired by sound artist Annea Lockwood’s participation in 32 Sounds. The Fluxworks in Circuit #02 debuted at On Air Fest in Brooklyn, NY. Circuit 02 was made possible by generous support from Bumper, Sounds Profitable, and Mr. Chris Bannon.
