The unassuming protectors of Zanzibar's mangrove trees are driven by a simple belief.

Munira Kaoneka left engineering when she discovered her passion for storytelling through hosting her own podcast. Now working in communications in Zanzibar, she uses narrative audio to drive social change, creating human-centered stories that connect audiences to real, lived experiences.

Sadaqah Jariyah was commissioned for Circuit 07: Trash or Treasure.
